No, I don't think many of them are. The fuel delivery is, of course, but not the storage.

I'm working on the rich thing. I just need a little more time. Then I'll buy you a nice Defender.

I have never had a hiss.
I don't recall mine ever hissing, and it is AEL based on this: http://www.roverparts.com/TechTips/k...ons_system.cfm

And, after cleaning my IACV it has fired up every morning without issue.

Oh, I was not insulted and the storage and delivery system on these is pretty much one closed loop system. Mine is Pre-AEL and it definitely has a powerful hiss with the warning on the gas cap, I am pretty sure that is to be expected on the pre-ael.

I was not attempting to insult you either. The saying about being rich is one that the head of our Materials Lab used quite often during audits at aerospace parts suppliers to break the ice when suppliers attempted to blow smoke or hide problems that directly prompted our visits to their facilities.
He was a good ole boy from St Louis with a PHD in Materials Sciences and one of the main technical experts I worked with on the Cruise Missile Program. With his country drawl and farmboy build they were often surprised at his depth of knowlege on almost everything.

And I admit, I ain't always right about everything. Best wishes to all.
