Question My Disco has imobilised itself!

So just got my truck back from a few service items, new master cylinder and while the garage had it the battery went flat but we got it running again and it was fine,,,
I drove it home, and put it on my drive as normal... and after christmas (boxing day) i went to start it but im only getting lights on the dash!

I have a 97 disco, so the central locking has completely stopped working... the red imobiliser light isnt on at all - no flashing, not solid nothing, the remote doesnt lock/unlock - no response at all...

unplugging the green box sets off the alarm,
checked all the fuses, all are good, none blown or corroded...
Battery is fully charged, though i know it needs replacing.
Changed remote battery just in case...

So now im at a loss!

No had this before, its been good as gold. What am i missing? realy neede it running today!

try disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it and see if it starts.
Had that on one of my D1's and ended up replacing the green box
