Default My weekend headache...

Attacking the rear bearings and brakes all the way around...

Why on earth is it so difficult to find the right parts at 5 different auto parts stores? Every one of them have different part numbers, and not one is ever correct for my truck. I finally found the correct brakes for my 99 Disco I by searching parts for a 90 Defender/RR!

...and just cut the sensors off the darn things.

Question: What part # will I need for the handbrake drum shoes?

Next up, while she's up on stands- need to service the rear diff. Gosh, I hope I can find the right gasket for it! Ugh, otherwise, I'll just make one I guess.

You are on a cross over year, so a 97 - 98 may yield better results. If by service you mean drain and fill no big gasket needed.

Yes service. But would like to just check things out, make sure I'm not on the brink of failure. I've noticed rear diff is leaking a lot more than normal lately..

Oh and a 52mm 6pt with 1/2" drive is on its way from the motherland.
