installed switch but lights stay on til I depressed switch plunger. So I'm guessing when brake is not on plugger is pressed in the when press pedal plugger is released and lights come on. but my pedal does not push plunger in need fix. Please

 

The plunger is adjustable.
You can move it in or out to get the right contact point.
