Need help with removing the 2" suspension lift
Everyone's asking for my lift so now I need to figure out how exactly to remove it without blocking access to the undercarage of the rig. I still want access to the axles and everything else. My first assumption is that I need to get 4 jack stands capable of holding at least 6000 lbs. Please proved detailed instructions if possible.

Each jack stand needs to support 2,000 lbs, the whole truck will not be resting on one stand.
Ideally you need a old worn out set of springs to put on your truck when you take out your lift. With the jack stands you can also remove the wheels and just let the whole thing sit on the stands.

Danny, don't you mean the frame as I thought you needed to let the axles hang freely to stretch the coils. Sorry if I'm wrong.

Dam i dont have extra springs! And i do not feel like buying extra springs purely to hold up my rover, purely to part it out! Hmm is there another way to keep the rig lifter up with the axles hanging freely? SO to both access the springs and shocks and whatever else I need to remove fore parting???

Haha, too bad you dont live closer, i'd gut that thing like a fish for you. I have a pair of front springs i could trade you if you wanted? I could ship them up to you and you could ship me back what we agree is an equal value in parts if you want. Then you could just LEAVE the back resting on jackstands while you gut it. Thoughts?
