A friend of mine has a 1995 Land Rover Discovery which hes looking to unload. Only problem is that he doesn't have the key to disarm the alarm. He has a replica key but not the original with the alarm remote and therefore I'm not able to drive the car. As soon as i start the car, the alarm goes off. He isn't sure what type of alarm it has, I'm guessing its factory alarm. I was wondering where you would recommend i could get a replacement alarm remote from?

if you unlock the drivers door withe the key it should disarm the alarm, also when you lock it from the drivers door( which you have to do, cause if you lock them and shut the door they automaticly unlock) it arms the alarm.

 

and if you lock it from the drivers and then try to unlock it from any other doors the alarm will go off
