Spike that is pretty damn good. I see you ignored the 55 MPH on the trailer fenders.

You made two round trips? The trailer did not look full in the first trip's pics, why didn't you fill it up?

I like your truck, it's a lot like mine except I only got 120k on mine. And I do mine on a very tight budget, let them laugh all they want to my friend.

Danny Lee, I loved my Scouts. Very simple and anywhere I could wheel my modified CJ7 I could wheel my Scouts. The 800 had Dana 44's. As a matter of record the Jeep needed more attention than any vehicle I've ever owned except for a Fiat 128 I once had. I'm stripping the Disco down to be just like a Scout, austere. As a matter of note the front fenders on a Disco are hung just like an International.

Spikey, I wish I had an ARB on the front. I gave a White Tail a headache last spring and he stuck his shoulder into my drivers side fender after taking out that sides headlight and turn signal. Tough to find a silver fender in our bone yards up here. I've seen several white Disco's up here, predominant color......one could have been you! By the way have you blown out your motor lately? I did and blew out a choking brown cloud. Second and third time zero carbon cloud, clean as a whistle. 55 to 70 in quick time. Makes a huge difference in performance when you strip these interiors out. Two seats and a dash, prepped interior for bed liner. The entire inside is down to bare painted metal and crappy wire looms. Lost the console too, gonna re-switch and gauge this thing right. Haven't decided if I'm gonna loose the SRS yet but I'm gonna move it for sure and cut the tray that the bag control box sits on. Looking for gray manual seats too. Nothing is under either seat except floor. I redid the headliner a couple of years ago but that's coming out too. Gonna be a throw back to the Series trucks. Planning out the look right now, I've made up my mind. The wire looms will be in electrical conduit, gray plastic.

I am going to rewire mine as well. Relocate the electrical that is attached to the driver's seat frame. Rip out the unused stuff like the Rear A/c Wiring, not much back there except the taillights.

Mine is pretty naked inside.

The trailer was full both times Danny, and the first trip was up north, that was 3 hrs each way.
The second trip was out east, that was 2 hours each way.
2 separate houses in 2 different directions.
Total miles for the weekend were 612.
612 miles on a 204k Disco pulling a trailer without a single problem or any oil usage.

Scout-my SD rack is from the salvage yard just south of Chum's Corner, I paid $150 for it sight unseen, I took a chance and it paid off in spades.
I heard out it on Craig's List, called, got a vague description and whipped out my credit card and paid for it in full over the phone.
2 weeks later I was in TC taking it off of the truck and carrying it out to the parking lot and bolting it to mine.
I'm not stripping my truck, I still haul the family around in it, it is the ultimate Northern MI blizzard machine.
Lock the CDL in hi, hit the road and go!! I even pass snow plows on I-75.
Drive snowmobile trails to take the kids sledding, I have a youtube channel with a video of that too.
When we move to TC that is what I'll still be driving, if the Rover Gods are willing that is.
