Default New Clear Signals, LEDs, and Relay

Just sharing new clear turn signal lenses, LEDs from superbrightleds.com, and a signal relay from the same place. I'm happy with the clear signals except they were not sealed well enough, so I placed an additional bead of silicone around the edges.

The LEDs work great but superbrightleds.com lists the wrong bulb for the front dome light, and not all the bulbs for the glove box. The front dome light needs the 36mm festoon bulbs. The rear dome light and glove box can use either the 31 or 36mm.

For the turn signals I used the 1156-WW18-T instead of the more expensive 1156-WW45-T and they seem bright enough.

To use LEDs on turn signals a new flasher relay is required or else they will flash extremely quickly. I purchased the CF13GL-02 but found it's too big to fit in the stock fuse box flasher slot. I removed the casing and bottom PCB and now it fits fine and works great.

In the video the rear dome light is LED and the front is incandescent for comparison.

You know, prety slick. And a strip of black diamond plate would look good where that trim is missing above the glove box....

Oh yeah black or nickle anodized diamond plate I ripped off the old worn out wood trim and have been considering what to put there ever since.

Well as I recall you might have access to some serious veneer samples..... or how about sanded redwood from old growth limbs dragged back from ET land?

Where did you get the clear signals from? There was a write up on Dweb called Blinker Tech that went over the flasher swap out pretty well. I used a Tridon EP26-LED flasher when I replaced my rear bumper. The license plate LED's look great, you should try them.

Clear signals are from RoversNorth:LAND ROVER PARTS - CLEAR FRONT CORNER LAMP SET DISCOVERY I

Definitely going to get some more of these LEDs for the license plate and other areas.
