New clutch fan still loud

I installed a new clutch fan (Hayden 2626) but its still sounds like a jet just a smaller one than before the new clutch. Is this normal or is there something else I need to check?

Sounds like you got a H.D. clutch that keeps the fan engaged more then needed.

The 2626 is a std duty, it probably just sounds louder compared to your old one what wasn't fully engaging.
