Default Not being an @ hole....

Are you sure you have the right code?

how many times did you attempt to enter the code? I believe it locks you out after 5 attempts...something like that. If you disconnect the neg batt. terminal for about an hour then reconnect it you can try again.

Is this the trucks original radio, if so how long has it not been working? It may be the internal battery is shot, if so just drive with the radio in the on position for a few days and see if it will recharge and then allow you to install the code number.

and you have to have the ignition key on for at least an hour with the radio on continuously. No starting or driving, just sitting there in the driveway..

I'm having my own radio issues. Don't know if it's original radio or not, so I' have to remove it to get the serial number. Just ordered one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330481311320

to remove the radio with. I hope I didn't strip the screws by trying a dozen different allen keys and screw drivers before looking up that it's a special tool. (So I've read.)

the tool is a pent key or 5 sided allen wrench (BMW tool), I have heard many installers use a small torx tip successfully. unfortunately if it is stripped out bad you would either need to remove the whole dash or drill it out!
