Default New shoes on the disco

A buddy of mine gave me a deal I couldn't pass up on a barely used set of 265/75 Treadwright Wardens so here it is. I love the look of the 265/75 and can't wait to get it offroad to try them out. My Treadwright Pumas did great off road so I'm hoping these do too.

Looks good. How much did you trim?

About 1/2 of an inch all the way around up front and just a camel cut in the rear

Looks good dude! That's a great stance.

I'm guessing you had FJ80 coils prior to your Terrafirma??...unless you had your Disco converted to leafs (FJ40's have leaf springs)

Oop. They were indeed fj80 coils. Crossed it up in a ditch today and flexed it until the back tire came off the ground with no rubbing at all. Also did good at 80 MPH on the interstate last night. So far I'm loving the 265s

Looks good. Are you going to trim out the rear arches to even the look? If you ever wanted to sell those rims you could get a premium dollar for them; Defender guys go ape over the Boost wheels.

Yeah, I'm going to get around to the rear flares one of these days. I've just been super busy with work and haven't had time to mess with them. What's premium dollar? I would like to get some OK Rover steel wheels in the future and I wouldn't have much use for these.
