Default New Tires to go with Emu 2" lift?

Hello Good People,

Can someone please help me with a nice tire setup?
My rig came with an 2" Emu Old Man lift. The tires that are on it are 255/70/16
I like the height but wondering how much higher I could go and still maintain a comfy ride without adding additional hardware.

At this time the rig is being used for city commuting.

I think the general consensus was that 235/85r16's are the ideal size for the 2" OME lift on a disco but requires adjusting steering stops and a camel cut on the rear lower quarter panels.

245/75r16 is a bit smaller and more conservative.

245/75 is better for the street and daily driver; the handling on this tire is better
235/85 is better for offroad; they can be aired down for more traction but handling at speed isn't as good as the 75 profile tires

Thank you gentlemen for the quick feedback. Much appreciated.
Being such a visual creature would anyone have an image with their beloved wearing any one of those sizes?

From left to right.
2" OME lift. 235/85/16 Toyo Open Country AT.
3+" RTE lift. 315/75/16 BFG KM2.
3"ish Big Blue lift. 255/70/16 BFG Rugged Trail(or something)

I'd go 235/85/16 for something that will see combined street/easy trail use.

And the 235/85/16 on a trip this fall.

I have been running 265/75/16 for 15 years, , ,goes everywhere,,had to trim a little bit on the back wheel opening, but not much, , and a small adjustment on the steering stops to keep the inside of the tire from rubbing on the locating arms. Been very happy, ,good in sand, snow, mud, happy on the road, ,etc.
