here is what their web page says i cant find out how the part is made.
"ÜRO Parts manufactures a complete range of Land Rover cooling hoses, water pumps, and expansion tanks for many applications. All our rubber coolant hoses are double reinforced for extra strength and durability. Each hose is manufactured from ECD (Electro Chemical Degradation) resistant materials, which prevents electrolysis from breaking down the rubber from the inside out. All our cooling components have an industry leading 24 month unlimited mileage warranty."

And there is always the cheapest source of used OEM parts, the u-pull-da-partz junk yard. A D1 and a D2 pump are the same. Paid $6 for the one on the right from a D2, 120K, on the left is my wobbly leaker, 170K. The advantage of u pull is you get to practice on a donor vehicle before taking a wrench to yours. BP Utah and others have a pump with larger bronze impeller, if going the other route. BTW, it will be quite likely that your fan clutch will fail soon, it won't like the new pump no matter what price, it was used to vibrations from the old one. A Chevy rated fan clutch (see our tech write up) is about $60. While you have it apart, please reverse flush the radiator.

Good point about the $10 stat, two bolts, a 180F does a great job in mine, keeps temps below 200 (180-183 on roads, 187 on interstate). Align the weep hole or jiggle device at 12:00 position. Remember, the "spring" goes inside the block.
