Is a t box the same as the transfer case? If so how do I change the fluid in mine... I'm getting the clunk that everyone seems to get on these. Pictures would help if anyone has them. Thanks, Dave

Check the tech sticky at the top. There is a lot of info there.

The RAVE manual is a free download in my sig. It has a wealth of info too..

Yes. Now go to the top of the Discovery section, find my list of items for a major service and do them all. If you have any questions, PM me your tele number and I'll be glad to help you.
Fir your current issue, also grease all your drive shaft grease fittings.

david, luckily for you the LT230 transfer case is probably the best thing land rover ever built...it should be fine with the new oil unless it was low for a long time and the seals dried out in which case it might leak some now...making it more like every other LR component

Nevermind, I found it in the disco II area. thanks mike I have pretty much done all of that except the tranny service. Is that just draining the fluid and putting new in? I have bosch premium plug wires all I need to get is the plugs (cant' decide which ones to get yet) and everything on that list will be complete. Oh, I also ordered new igniitiion wires one of mine was dry rotted and fell apart when I touched it. pulled one at a junk yard to hold me until new ones came in.
