NGA ROVER - '97 Inspection Report
Brandon came over on Saturday to sort out a few issues and I have good news. Good truck and a good deal from NGA!Got the interior (courtesy lights) lights and clock working and that was the easiest thing ever.... fuse.
Rear step... removed.
Determined the window lift ecu is bad after tracing the entire circuit for continuity and voltage. All switches work, all fuses and wiring good... pulled the ecu and resoldered broken joints... NO output voltage.
Next we'll sort out the ABS system, fix the drivers window regulator and put in a window ecu...
Anyone want to chip in and buy Brandon a multimeter for Christmas? He is accepting donations. Although after letting him drive my '66 around in the woods for a while he may want to buy a Series rig too... get the meter first Brandon

Glad you like the truck. Still have sellers remorse, but pounding away on the white one to get it ready. I think you got a steal on it personally but In the long run, I broke even on it and was happy with that. Can't wait to see pictures of it as you redo it etc.
Glad you have sellers remorse, as you should when selling a Rover! Get that white one on the road, it should quiet down the wife. I will hopefully track down the "tick" soon when I get another free weekend, and I will post pictures when there's something worth seeing...hopefully a paint job before too long!
Brandon,
No Problem. I would jumped on that deal myself. I guess the seller prefers the challenge of fixing a Disco instead of just driving a good one. Maybe one day I will find a deal like you got. Enjoy it.
