No Rotoflex?
You lucky dog. Either it was already swapped out or I guess some didn't come with em. I don't know the exact details....... somebody will clear that up.

Towards the end of the DI run, it was common to see the four bolt flange on the rear differential. Many of the later DI's that I parted came that way from the factory. Land Rover, in their infinite wisdom, fell right back in with the rotoflex with the DII in 1999. I have never seen a DII with the four bolt flange rear diff that hadn't been modified.

Well, the US market and the Australian market, didn't always follow the same path. With regard to the DI, I don't think Australia ever saw any GEMS equipped models. From what I can tell, GEMS was primarily offered in the US in response to EPA and DOT requirements for implementation of OBDII protocols by the end of 1996. Maybe you can tell me if any of the P38 4.0L or 4.6L models were equipped with GEMS fuel injection in Australia. I can't tell you how many endless arguments I had with an Australian on another board over whether or not the US DI's were equipped with the dreaded "spider" immobilizer (they were not). From what I've learned, you never had the 10AS immobilizer on your DI's. You always had the Lucas 17VT (IIRC).
I could continue with a list of differences between NAS DI's and the rest of the world but I think you get my drift. I have no explanation for why Land Rover stopped equipping the last of the DI's headed for the NAS market with the rotoflex but they did.
