Default No start, no crank

Our Discovery 1 was starting and running just fine and then suddenly refuses to start. There is no cranking, clicking or anything. The battery is new and holding a charge. We have strong lights, etc. Any ideas?

Hmm, interesting subject as I am trying to start up my '97 Disco after sitting for a year. There were no issues when I last started it, now there is no cranking at all, not even any clicks. Fresh jump box, dash lights up no problem. Key fob buttons do not seem to do anything. Steering wheel doesn't seem to be an issue. Fuses look good. Alarm goes on, but it never went on before when trying to start it. Eventually it goes off. Any comments on hard to find suspects to check?

Thanks,

Vince
