I feel the same way but once you hear the officer say the vin was faked, some rover loving sap like us who might not know any better could have been fooled.

Exactly, and the people knowingly breaking the law by trying to scam the system are making it one step closer to you not being able to buy that old Land Rover if it's not already in the US.

Meth is made here highly volitale, they can't stop the coke,weed illegals, guns that come in with the drugs etc.

Evidence is destroyed with court order so likely case is over and no appeals made

Best is when you cannot own but after case is done judge turns possetion over to police and we sell it to buy gear

In this case it is probly considered Contraban an like drugs so destroyed

They also do this with USA gi vehicles, if exported on lend lease cannot come back to USA, if there is something to show it was bought then import OK, but I can go import a Russian tank no problem just not a ww2 jeep, morons making sensless laws
