Not all LR owners have your back...
While I was broke down at the beach today 2 Disco owners cruised by taking the time to stare but offered no help, one of which was approaching while I was crawling out from under the vehicle. I had the hood up, thought that was a universal sign that there's a issue, guess not. Once I left the beach I made it to a convenience store after the third over heat and I approached a Jeep owner who pulled up and asked if he had some tools, he said today was my lucky day, he had just put them in it. He let me use his tools and assisted me in the work at hand. While we were working on it a third Disco owner pulled up stared, didn't say a word went in the store came out and left. DONT BE THOSE GUYS! If a fellow LR owner appears to be in trouble the least we can do is ask if they need any thing.

Yeah, probably better that they didn't stop...more of a liability if they don't know what they're doing. Doubt they had even jumper cables in their trucks.
Different story if they were rigged for recovery, then that's just bad form.
That is a shame, though. Glad you got out.

When I drive the old beat up defender, I get lots of stares and sometimes the jeep guys wave and I wave back, but I doubt any of the land rover owners even know what it is.
