Default NTK 25044 question

As I was trying to install my 3 link this past weekend I found that I need to move my sensors from hitting my crossmember.

First question: what is the thread size and pitch so I can get a weld in bung?

Second question: do they have to be a certain distance post cat for proper readings, would they read the same if they were 2" closer to the cats?

I think the distance from the cats is merely because of heat. I wouldn't think 2 inches closer would matte, but I could be wrong.

Aren't most O2 sensors the same regarding thread size and pitch? M18 x 1.5

I was thinking the same thing for distance.

I wish they were standard 18mm but there a good bit smaller

When I did mine I used the thread chaser I made out of an old Volvo B230ft head bolt. It worked great and even restored one semi-stripped bung back to health.

bolt size - M12 x 1.75.
