A buddy of mine had a 1990 RRC, and the wheels were kind of a green/grey color. For some reason I thought the lugs were too... but I could be remembering incorrectly. Perhaps painting them the sparkle silver color of the wheels would look ok, and keep them from rusting or tarnishing?

Phil, in the picture of the five lug nuts was it the top two that you did not use the polish on? Did you like the polish? Was it worth it?

The top pic is of the RRC lug nuts after being polished.
The bottom pic is of the old lug nuts.
I do not remeber which ones I did not use the polish on as I just dropped them all into a bucket of clean water after I wire wheeled them.
The parts that are not totally clean in the pic are the worst ones, they were deep pits.
Was the polish worth it? For what I paid yes, totally.
Did the polish work as claimed? Yes.
Would I use it on lug nuts again? No. Not unless they were heavily tarnished like mine were and I soaked them before hitting them with the wire wheel like I did this time.
I originally tried to clean them with a sponge and the polish after soaking in baking soda/vinegar mix for 30 min.
To much work because of the small surface area to work on at a time.
Do I think it would work wonders on a rim? You bet your *** I do!
Am I pleased with the overall performance of the metal polish? Yes.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

Would you go to the trouble of polishing your nuts again or was one time all you could stand?

Did you use antiseize when you put them back on?

Would I polish them again? If they get all buggered and rusty sure, otherwise no.
