Default ob2 reset?

Hi guys - anyone know how many miles it takes to reset the emissions? I changed my battery and then went to get the emissions test a few days later and the guy at the testing facility told me he couldnt test the truck. Just curious how far i have to drive before the system is reset and ready to test again. Thanks

Keith

Shouldn't they tell you how long you must drive? Like 100 miles, etc.? Does that vary by state?

It has nothing to do with states, it has to do with the MIL's setting. There is a drive cycle you can do to expedite the process but I'm not sure what it is.
