OBD2 codes - lots of them.....
So - finally fixed my overheating issues by recoring the rad per my previous thread ... truck runs fine now and no overheating issues.
Before emissions testing thought I wanted to check codes for the check engine light and WOW .. lots in there .. Just wanted to get an opinion of if these would have been caused simply by overheating or if there are other issues ... from Google search a couple seem to do with misfires and the O2 sensors?
Any thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. I am planning to do a tune-up per the Tech Section - new vehicle purchase/60k miles routine but I was hoping I could find out if I needed anything else so I can order it at the same time as my filters/plugs/wires etc and save on hastle/shipping.
Per the PO and the look of the CATs they look brand new ... I am hoping that they just did not reset the codes after CAT replacement ... The heating codes don't bother me as I think I have fixed the overheating issues ...
The O2 sensors are the one thing I am abit worried about from the print-out but hopefully you are correct that this is just a symptom of the other problems the truck had. The misfire codes are also abit weird - I guess if the truck was overheating it could have richened the mixture to the point of misfire? And the misfire threw the O2 codes as well? Who knows ....
For anyone else reading, here is a summary of the codes that appear to have been recorded in the OB2:
P0133 Oxygen Sensor Slow Response *Codes* A U
P0130 Oxygen Sensor Cycle Fault *Codes* A U
P0138 Oxygen Sensor High Voltage *Codes* A D
P0300 Misfire On Multiple Cylinder
P0307 Misfire Cylinder 7
P03O3 Misfire Cylinder 3
P1316 Misfire Excessive Emissions Fault
P1313 Misfire Catalyst Damage Fault Bank A
P0181 Fuel Temperature Sensor Signal Error Fault
P0116 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Falling Temp Fault
P0125 Engine Coolant Temp Sensor Warm Up Fault
P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor High Out of Range Fault
P0116 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Falling Temp Fault

So - reset codes and the only ones that come back are the ones related to the engine temp ...
Other thing of note - after replacing the rad, I drove for almost 2 hours around town with NO overheating ... now I am having the truck overheat (per the guage on the dash) within 15 mins of turning it on ...
Faulty sensor? Fan not working - this would explain it overheating while sitting idle?
I tried turning the fan while hot and it seems to have abit more resistance but definately isn't hard to move ....

Let's go back to basics.
1. By overheat on dash do you refer to gauge above 50% of scale, or all the way as far as it will go?
2. Loss of coolant? Coolant container 50% full?
3. Gurgle sounds under dash from air or combustion gas in coolant?
4. Electric fans in front of condenser should come on when AC is turned on.
5. Main fan should turn "firm" when engine cold, like 1/4 of a turn if you spin and releaase. When warmed up, spin and release, it should not spin a whole revolution.
6. Was fan removed duing rad work? Cupped side of blades go toward block.
7. Fan belt route see Discover Defender Maintenance Tips, Accessories, Parts & More at Roverparts.com
8. Thermostat - $10 item. Any doubt swap it out. Spring side goes inside block. I run a 180F stat, it is high 70's here today, 183 at highway speed, 187 in traffic and stopped, touches 194 once in a while when exit freeway to dead stop and idle, then cools off.
9. Sensors (gauge and separate ECU) can be off, use OEM for both.
