It goes behind the fender it's held in place by two l brackets on the a pillar and a 2.5" PVC strap behind the fender. Flexed in with 3" flexible intake hose.

I was going to go with 3" I'm glad I didn't it barely fits behind the fender. Because of the angle it follows with the a pillar. If it came straight up and the followed the angle you could prolly 3".

It's a 45* bend and then a 40* bend at the top with a 10* kick to the right.

Man your white paint looks better than mine. Also did you pull your black trimmings and repaint them or something. Mine are washed out from the sun. I'd love to see a pic of your truck from the side. I thought about doing black wheels on mine and I see that you pulled the running board trim crap.

thanks, no i never repainted any trim.

You can find many pictures of my truck from previous posts. YouTube - Day Out With Rover not many good shots of it in there but its the only thing I have on hand.

as for the plastic running boards.. DO NOT PULL THESE OFF!!

untill you get sliders..

I pulled mine out of boredom and I WAS building some sliders but never finished.. If you pull them, you will regret it. You will get mud up inbetween the door and body and then the weatherstripping will fall off, you will have visible gaps to the outside, you will feel breeze as other vehicles pass you on interstate and obviously more noise.. And mud gets in in muddy condition.
I have yet to finish my sliders and have yet to find a weatherstripping thats worth a damn.

if/when I get that panel off agian I will... Know where your factory jack is? I removed it and ran the hose though the perfect 3" hole behind it.
