oil light need help

I used Castrol GTX 20W50 in an old chevy 283 I used to have. Was unsure whether the Discovery would like that thick of an oil.

I went to Walmart a while back and they were completely out of the Rotella, I ended up getting the Max Life Synthetic Blend, they had a 5 quart jug on sale for about 17 bucks. That stuff made the engine sound and feel better than it has yet.

I'd like to try the rotella and hopefully it'll solve my problem and I can move on to the next lol.

Theres what 4 qt per gallon? You suggest 15w 40?
