Ok, I broke my passenger rear shock playing around last weekend and bent my spring retainer cone...

Anyone using aftermarket retainers? If so who's and why?

It seems like I saw a kit somewhere with brackets and shocks to make the rear shocks the "stud" type top mount instead of the "pin" type. Anyone heard of this?

And finally what shocks do you recommend?

I think these are the upper mounts that your looking for? They are Rovertym mounts if that helps. And if youre interested in them let me know, Im running FOX shocks now with the heim joint ends.

I had ProComp ES9000 on these but they were garbage.
As far as spring retainers I made my own out of some 1.5" wide 3/16" flat stock for the top and bottom.

Do you have a picture of the spring retainers? I've heard the procomps were junk, I think I am going to go with TF.
