Im talking up to the windows... SOOO..... what am I looking at?

Planning on letting it all dry out and changing the oil. pulling spark plugs and such. I dont think I got any in the intake thanks to my snorkel while it was running..

Yup, Told myfriend electronics weren't sealed yet, but had to give it a go.

dry the carpets out, check the air filter for contamination just in case, open up the fuse box under the bonnett to let it dry as well as the one under the steering column. then you will have to go thru your diff's, TC and tranny and check those for contamination.

I did very similar. Worst that happened to mine was the CD changer cooked (who cares), and the seats shorted out. Since drying, the seats sort of work again. It's the muddy dirt smell that hasn't quite gone yet.

Pop the hood, pressure wash really good and you should be fine. If it ran sunk, it should still run.

 

How long was it in the water?
Apparently the automatics aren't well sealed and they don't like water at all. Someone on another forum didn't even go that deep and drained and flushed the gearbox when he got home and it still died not too long afterward. He ended up converting to an R380.

 

Haha. Oh man that didn't take long. Maybe nows the time to think about ripping all the carpet out and herculining the interior?
