Default P1178 and missing

Sorry, posted this in the general section by mistake last week

I had P1178 code last month, cleaned, regasketed the plenum, retorqued the intake bolts. MAF sensor cleaner on the sensor, new O-ring on the sensor (was gone like the plenum gasket).
Been running ok since new coils and wires last month.
1178 came back, and last niht and she was bucking and missing bad.

checked codes this morning expecting to see several misfires as well, but only ole 1178.

Just wanted to get advice before I order the MAF sensor, I think I checked the other usual suspects.

What about the vacumn hoses that go back into each side of the intake. Mine were bad, got 1176 a few times, replaced them and retorqued manifold cover bolts, it went away so far.

Default vacuum hoses good

Yeah, thanks Danny Lee. checked those when I had the plenum and throttle body dismounted.

the big suprise was the sudden skipping/missing. Shouldn't be I suppose, if its been rich for a while before I got it, the plugs could be fouled. Time for a replace anyhow, since I did the coils asnd wires.

1178 is usually caused by a vacuum leak, but rarely causes a really rough idle. I doubt it is the MAF and would suggest you have some one do a smoke test to find your leak.
