Any help appreciated--a search revealed scant info about this, and that which was there I didn't really understand.
I'm running with p1192 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Short Downstream) and p1196 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Type 2 Low Resistance Downstream) codes currently. No noticeable engine performance issues, and I just passed emissions, so I guess no real hurry. Still, though, I'd like to get this sorted out, as I assume it has to do with my crazy STFTs and LTFTs on both banks.
Common sense would suggest that I've got 1 or 2 bad O2 sensors downstream but I thought I'd check to see if anyone had thoughts before I just start throwing parts.
Always grateful for the help I find around here.
(PS: I recently replaced plugs, wires, vacuum hoses, fuel filter, fuel pump, and purge valve related to several codes, none of which was either of these two, in case that matters).
