Default Parking lights don't flash when alarm is enabled

It has been brought to my attention that my parking lights don't flash when the alarm is engaged/ disengaged on my 1994 Disco, I also go through batteries in my remote roughly every 6 months. The local LR Dealership in Las Vegas wanted $138 to look into it. I have tried to google the issue but, get nowhere. Any ideas where i should start? Thanks in advance.

Don't know about remote. But here are pages for the relay that makes lights flash for alarm. That F2 fuse on satellite panel 2 just runs theft flasher relay and wash pumps, may not have noticed it out...

I bet your alarm is dead and I would not even try to fix it.

Your right it is 18 years old, just hit 140K, alarm works just fine, lights don't flash. I couldn't be happier with my $2400 investment 2 years ago.

How do you know the alarm works?
Have you set it and then opened a door?
I too would be happy with $2400 spent 2 years ago and only 140k on it.

I have set the alarm, horn goes off, disco will start then immediately die. I know that it works, was just curious why the lights don't flash anymore? The F2 fuse also controls the wipers or the washer ( I believe ) which work currently and all my lights do work. Oh well, thanks for the help.

If washers work, then you have narrowed it down to the relay. It is pulsed by the theft alarm unit to flash the lights. Relay K159 in picture that was attached. In driver's side kick panel. You are half way there.

Changed relay out, still no flashing parking lights. It's probably time to upgrade to an aftermarket setup anyway. Thanks for the help.

An upgrade to an aftermarket could introduce additional problems. I would leave well enough alone if it were mine!

@Danny Lee, any ideas how to make the factory one better, I can use the current setup no further than 3 feet away, I know she's old but...
