Default Parts swap? 3.9 and 4.0

First post!

I have a 95 (3.9) and I'm considering buying a 96 to potentially use as a parts car. I know my 95 pretty well and I'm sure a lot of the car will swap over easily but I'm having trouble understanding how different the 3.9 is from the 4.0 which, from the little I know, is the main difference between the 95 and 96. Any advice? Should I wait until another 3.9 comes along? Parts I'm looking at swapping run the gamut from window mechanisms to brake cylinder to cup holders, if you catch my drift.

engine block
main bearings
cam shaft
pistons
plenum
flywheel
ignition system
maf
IACV
rocker cover
exhaust y-pipe
radiator
tail lamps
fuel pump
passenger front fender
front seats
various trim pieces
maybe rear drive shaft
maybe swivel ball housings

Heads swap, axles, body panels, diffs, t-case, trans, radiator, fans, interior parts, most engine sensors...if you can get the '96 cheap enough it'll be worth it.
I bought a '95 to swap parts to keep my '97 running but wound up selling the '95 after swapping the winch bumper over because I didn't have space to store it while I stripped it.

Wow, okay that is more than I thought. I see a few things mentioned that I was planning on switching over. I think I'll try and get another 95 and play it safe. Thanks for the help .

from what I've read here there is not much difference between the 3.9 and 4.0l engines ... they basically changed the name of it to look better

They also changed the main bolts, the 4.0 is coss bolted the 3.9 is not.
4.0 has carbon cutter valves, 3.9 does not.
4.0 has a crank sensor, 3.9 does not.
