Plug Wires
Guys,
I have seen a few things about plug wires on here and I hate to spend a hundred dollars on a set of plug wires like the Magnecors cost. I saw Spike reccommend the Kingsbourne, which I was not familar with so i did a search on them

Turns out they have 8mm for less than 35 bucks. I may just buy a set of those to see if they improve things.
I am getting some random codes lately. Some dfyas, it runs fine, other times it doesn't.
Perplexing beast.
I was wondering with my recent O2 sensor change and the amount of soot present, can you remove a plug and squirt something in to help clean it out some. I am somewhat reluctant to do the Seafoam Injection. Just don't like that idea at all.
Can fouled plugs be cleaned?
I will pull my new plugs soon just to see what condition they are in.
Changing them was a little bit of a hassle since the old ones were 13/16 and the new ones were 5/8, had to keep changing the socket over to remove old and put in new. Also some locations worked fine with short extension, some needed longer extension. The flex head ratchet helped, but it was still irritating.

Plug wire separators
Also the existing plug wire seperators pinch an 8mm insulation, here is a combo pack of wire separators made for 8mm wires.

yeah i noticed the 8mm wires were tight to fit on the original wire separators, it made it a little more difficult to route the wires right to prevent any crossfire. A navy buddy of mine who is an electrician said it shouldn't be a problem with the pinching. the disco runs better with the new wires and champion plugs. switching ratchet extensions for the spark plugs was irritating.

So a regular old copper champion plug cleans up well, the high dollar ones not so much. Just have to make sure the ceramic insulation isn't cracked.
