Poly Engine Mounts
I had Falconworks install a custom set of polyurethane engine mounts today. They had them custom made to their CAD drawing specs at a company in the U.K.
My truck is a 1999 Discovery 1 with the 4.0 V8 engine.
I kept tearing up the OEM rubber engine mounts. My rock crawling had me going through a pair about every 6-8 months. We'll see what these polys do, time-wise, but they should be a lot stronger.
My cost was about $50 for the pair, but you should call for current pricing and shipping if you need a set.
I'm not affiliated with Falconworks, other than they're friends that specialize in Land Rovers and Jaguars, and I'm a happy customer of theirs. I beat up my truck, they put it back together. I wanted a custom engine and supercharger in my Jag, they did it.

Interesting. Are those a two piece design?
I've been running the Jaguar V12 motor mounts for some years now and no problems at all. JLM1010 is the part #. They have a larger OD and won't fit the TC mounts though.
Curious, what brand were the rubber mounts you've been eating? I'm guessing not Genuine.

The Jag mounts are a good idea. I almost went that route, but the fellow in the UK that casts them was willing to do it off of a CAD drawing from Falconworks. I've been going through the OEM rubber mounts. I don't know the company name in the UK, but Falconworks can bring them in. I believe that each mount is a single piece. Feel free to call them to ask details. The maker originally sent mounts that fit a diesel. This is their first set for a V8 in the states.
I've been chasing an externally caged Toyota that's built like a tank with huge tires and a custom turbo diesel Mercedes engine over some gnarly stuff. 'Gotta represent the Rovers right!

I saw someone else makes and sells d1 mounts, their design has 2 prices of channel interlocked and welded to the giant washers to limit the expand of the mount, then covered in rubber or thane but expensive iirc, can't remember who was selling them
Any idea what these look like inside?
