Default power loss

been having serious intermittant power loss lately, 300 miles ago I had a p0158? bank 2 o2? cleared it and never came back ug shows volt, tps, mph, temp, o2,s intake temp all normal but I push the gas pedal and nothing though tps reading increases

actualy seriously looses speed on inclines at 50 mph last tank of gas i got 170 miles highway, this tank got 259 which is about normal all on super

4 tanks ago I filled up at a shell before this started I always get wawa gas did I get bad gas or fuel pump going?

does not miss or sputter just no power, if I push almost to the floor it kicks into passing gear and engine screams trying to get back up to speed like i am riding the brakes, brakes are not getting hot and abs pump fuse is out

this happens with and without a/c on and is very annoying but intermittant, seems worse when it is in the 90's ambient but engine temp is 185*

Did you get this from the other ECM as well?

I think when I originally posted above the other ecm was in can't remember, I think this came from a weird startup issue I have in warm weather once and a while

Once and a while I start the hot engine in warm weather it runs weird like its rich or something like the chokes on then Smith's out but the sensors show normal

Now done it with both ecm, and before I did the injectors and fpr , maybe I need to check crank sensor wiring? For that issue

Not sure on the 0158

Are you running with a vented gas cap or non-vented?

Could be a bad cat, vacuum leak, bad downstream 02, or a wiring problem. With this popping on two separate ECM's is highly unlikely it's either of those.

Well, no cats, replaced both upstreams , down streams are blocked, I've had upper and lower plenums off and sealed with hylomar so I am thinking wireing?

Yep, looks like that's it. I did a little research on P0158. The reason I rule out the ECM's is because there is no way both ECM's would have reference voltage to that particular 02 out of whack. So wire is where it's at.
