Power steering hose routing

Unhappy Power steering hose routing
1997 Disco SD. I am a new member replacing my power steering hoses. The high pressure hose was routed within an inch of the manifold with a second split hose and some duct tape form the previous owner. Does the hose get routed towards the manifold or towards the radiator?

Find the RAVE manual, download it and look in there.
It is the shop manual for these trucks.
