Just yanked a 100A alternator from a donor Disco for a shelf spare and there is a Precision Parts and Remanufacturing sticker on it. Has a tech support line number which I thought was unique. Anyone know of this company's rep? They say they replace diodes with high capacity and use high temp solder.....haven't taken a peek yet, sitting on the bench. It works, no issues while installed. Looks to be a couple of years old, varnish still bright.

Just curious, so many are junk rebuilt.
