Default Prepping for paint

Still got to remove roof rack and doors, but really want to remove side and alpine windows. Been getting mixed opinions on how difficult or scary it is, definitly don't want break glass. Looks like it might be easier munipulaing them inwards. Any thoughts or tips, or just tape them

Do you have new gaskets for them? If so, just cut them with a razor blade.

EDIT: use a pick and remove the strip down the middle first, if the gaskets have it. Then cut them if you feel so inclined

Taking them out is a piece of cake. No clue about putting them in. I repaired my cracked seals by taking black aquarium silicone and smearing it into the cracks. It actually doesn't look terrible and it works great.

Rattle caning a Disco I like it.

When I painted my truck I just tapped all the windows and trim up left the whole body intact too
my truck was blue and now she is white
I used Rustoluem/duplicolor Auto paint and High performance enamel and alot of wet sanding with 400,800,1000,2000 and 2500 grit sandpaper

sorry for the hijack
