Hi Guys,

Can I do this:

1) Remove my driver's seat.
2) throw it in the trash. It is ugly and the heater is broken.
3) get a passenger's seat from a D1
4) Bolt it in as a driver's seat..

Will this work?

 

yes, I replaced both front seats with pass seats. lumbar **** clears post. I posted it so you can search
and see pix, $27 a seat

The wife knocked the bumper about 5 years ago. Never ever found one to replace it until now...
I was going up to the donor Rover to replace just that.
And, I see the guy has a passenger's seat too.
So, I'll look at the passenger's seat.
I just did not want to be throwing money at him for a seat and find it does not fit in.
Plug and play or unbolt and bolt is lovely.
