if your realistic goal is to feel slightly less torque drop, throughout rpm range, and get a bit more throttle response, spend the $700. keep in mind that your less adaptive system is going to be even less adaptive. so if you decide to do a cam swap or changes, you will need to spend another $700. it is not a bad option, but know what you will get. so if you want to go this route, you should get all your stuff like you want it first. (headers, pipes, quad turbo, super charger, ford or some custom five0 injectors, head work, etc) that way you will get to biggest bang.

I have left the idea of tornado, in favor of a fully tunable set up. megasquirt or the likes. it just makes more sense after corresponding with people that know more than me. (again I am bosch and would likely only see a very minimal gain, gems will see more..........still not a ton, but more) with gems I would expect you should shoot for 5-7% overall at the very best (that's an estimate with my stupid-head math based off of their claims of 10%ish on a perfectly matched and tuned set up) if you were 13cu or hotwire and did all the performance upgrades, you'd see the most. that puts you in the middle.
True, I would really really enjoy not having this damn 2.5-3k rpm dead spot in my power band, but for 700$? I'm beginning to think it's a bit of a rip off.
