I found a 1997 (VIN tag says manufactured in 1996) D1. It has a brush guard and alternator (Italian one).
Can I use those on my D1? (1995)
I offered $100 for the guard and $35 for the alternator and he said he would sell.
Could I snag the Transfer case too since mine refuses to shift? How much? He said $250, but I think I can bring him down some more.

The brush guard will definitely fit. I think the alternator will as well, but not 100% sure. But the MM alternator is well worth the 35 bucks go grab it anyway. You can always sell it to someone else on here if it does not play with the 95.
250 is high for the t/c alone. For that price I can get a used tranny with the t/c still attached already pulled and sitting on a shelf. You never got yours to work? Did you try rotating the lower selector plate with a wrench?
I doubt you really need the T/C for a frozen CDL issue. But if you can get it cheap enough, you may want to anyway.
