Default quick quick

have the chance to buy a 96 dicso for very cheap what parts if any are useable on my 2000 disco? also will the front brush guard from the 96 fit the 00???the 96 needs front end work im thinging front berings and races tie rod's and some brake work...when you apply the brakes it sounds like a vac. leak and when you let off all is well...any thought's ????

yea its probable a vaccum leak, might be the brake booster, or the line to it.

Dont knwo about anything else you said, sorry.

Don't buy the D1 with the idea of parts it out to keep your D2 running, there are few if any parts that will swap over.

the only thing i want off this 96 to fit the 00 is the brush guard...other than that im going to fix the 96...the 00 if 100% also anyone think $500 is to much for the 96??? i dont but you know what they say there is a butt for every seat....also anything i should look for in the d1? stuff that breaks? thing's that should be looked at b4 letting the little lady drive it???

D1 brush bar won't fit a D2, besides you don't really want t o use a used brush bar on your D2, they tend to rust out pretty quickly.

ok.... next thing . tonight i put new berings and reces in the front end.....nice nice.. now the brakes there is a small switch on the brake pedal. it had a vaume line going to it.. what is it? if i take it off the brake light's still work. i think but not sure as alldata said it's a switch for the cruse..? yes no? fix? leave be? i dont know. so far i got $531 into the truck the brakes are good the stearing not the best very loose however no play int the tie rods.steering box? maybe just a stearing stableiser? also this disco has a new motor in it anyway to tell what yr the motor is?
