I just ordered a Nissens 64029 from rock auto. THe description said "Material:copper, brass" but when it arrived it was aluminum and plastic. Does anyone have one of these radiators? I'm trying to decide whether to send it back or not. My local radiator shop wants more to recore mine than what I paid for this radiator. I have seen some suppliers with NOS radiators but they want $1000.00.

Any suggestions? It's not my daily driver so time is not a factor.

 

An aluminum / plastic one is avail on eBay for $240 usually. Perhaps they will match price since their info is wrong....
