Thanks for your thoughts guys. I'm going to swap the thermostat and exchange the fluid soon as possible. See if any crap comes out of it. It's been about a year since a fluid and thermo swap anyway. If I don't see a decrease in temps I'll pull it.
I'll post up after the new fluid and thermo.
What's advised? New coolant and distilled water at 50/50?

Ill post a review when it arrives. I think as our cars get older reproduction picks up and our landy issues are more easily addressed with increased demand. from a production standpoint I cant see why our radiators need to be expensive.

Those are PROLINE radiators list price is $679.00. DO NOT know if they are copper and brass or composite.

Keep in mind that how good they look out of the box often has little to do with longevity.
Sometimes something that seems too good to be true is exactly that.

Distilled Water / Coolant - 50/50

Add in Redline Water Wetter.........

Remember to continually service your cooling system. It will last that much longer.....

Griffin doesn't list a LR rad on their website. What's the price tag on those bad boys?

hi.
does any one knows if the radiator plastic caps of the Disco 2 are for sale somewhere?? I know that it could be changed.. mine has broke today..
I am at Pharr, Tx. border with Mexico and there are many radiator shops that change the caps.. but ... here is the but.... They don't have the caps for sale....
