Radiator in a Standard
Hmm my 95 has the 5 speed model trans cooler sitting between the rad and the grill.
My 94 doesn't. Are you in the USA? I didnt think NAS manual trucks had the small trans cooler because I read a thread on Dweb where they talked about getting a pump froma TDI D1 amd fitting it to a NAS truck to add the small cooler.

I've had the radiator out of my 96 5speed and didn't see any trans cooler.
Anyone have any images for those that rely on them as learning guides.
Thanks
My 110 does not have a cooler and my D1 does (both R380). I will see if I can get a picture. It is exactly like the Rovers North diagram for the manual trans type cooler (left).

So that's the same cooler as the Auto has. I've had 4 D1 Auto's and they've all had that cooler. My 94 Manual does not. If your manual does have the cooler consider yourself lucky because the trans fitting is a $700 part!!!
Ashcroft also makes this kit which I think includes everything needed. https://www.ashcroft-transmissions.c...ooler-kit.html

But it won't hurt if you use the proper paint and don't lay it on too thick.
If/when I spray a radiator, I like this ( only need 1 can ) > https://www.eastwood.com/ew-radiator...in-finish.html
So I was wrong. I looked at the junk R380 on my garage floor and it had the cooler fitting. So I crawled under the truck in my driveway and confirmed it does in fact have the cooler fitting on the trans and the small cooler behind the grill.
