I basically ended up just snatching mine out with brute force. I plan on bypassing all that is currently on there and putting in a new aftermarket unit. Anyone got any suggestions. I removed the rear speakers and amp as well as the under the seat CD changer.

 

Did this today; after loosening the two allen screws (they don't come all the way out)...reach in the tape deck and push down on release while pulling out unit.
