Read this if you have a High Idle
disregaurd the first qu. I went back and read your other post, you did have a tps code. on a side note I have a similar problem with high idle but it pulses, Did your truck pulse or was yours strickly high? I'll try your removing the tps test tomorrow. I might start my own thread if I find its not the same problem.

I have had the pulsing at start up..
Just looked for the video but could not find it. I got it on camera lol.
But at the time I didn't have a scangauge so I couldn't tell what was setting it off. However it only lasted one day and was perfect again.
ok, so you left the tps plugged in and unscrewed it from the throttle body and the idle went back to normal correct? So I assume you had a bad spot in it right where it is normally closed and taking it off allowed it to move enough to send a decent signal.
Past few days its been sending perfect signal but its too late for my ecu
Nope, scangauge does nothing of the sort. You would the need computer to reset the adaptive memory. I think it costs about 500$ and if I constanly have problems like this I might just buy it and maybe make some money on the side fixing others.
I tryed doing your tps test and it was not my problem. but messing around did set off my tps code and I cleared it and there was another code 03 ecu memory has recently been cleared , I have never had this code, in fact it wasn't even on the list on the link for codes I have. the only code I get normally is for the iacv, but I think something else is causeing the pulsing, I can pull the hose for the iacv and cap both sides( the procedure for setting base idle speed) and it still pulses.
It could be the ecu itself. I hear of them sometimes corroding when moisture gets in them. I'd crack it open on both sides and take a peek. But that's just me.
Howmuch is yours jumping?
