Default Rear hub oil seal question

I'm wondering if someone can clear up some confusion. Do I have to use a different hub oil seal for the rear hubs on a 1999 Disco I w/ABS? the reason I ask is AB's brake kits include 4 hub oil seal inner (part no. FTC2783)

Hub Oil Seal - Inner (FTC2783 Same Fit As Genuine Part # FTC2783) - Land Rover gaskets and seals from Atlantic British

AND 2 hub oil seals with ABS - rear (part no. FTC5268)

Hub Oil Seal With ABS - Rear (FTC5268 Same Fit As Genuine Part # FTC5268) - Land Rover gaskets and seals from Atlantic British

I was planning on using the better variant RTC3511 and am wondering if I can use it on all four hubs - front and rear.

Hub Oil Seal 12MM New Style (RTC3511 Same Fit As Genuine Part # RTC3511) - Land Rover gaskets and seals from Atlantic British

Thanks!

Don't know the answer to that question, but while you are working there you'll want to confirm or clean out the vent tube from each axle, they go to a banjo bolt on the axle. If plugged with mud (common, from combination of road dust and condensation) the slight pressure from expanding vapor that evaporates from the diff oil can cause same diff oil to vent out the axle seals. This leak combines with brake dust and makes a rubbery mixture.

Yes you will be fine. The defender hub seals have two lips on them instead of one. Not sure why AB has ABS and non ABS hub seals - I cant see any reason why that would make a difference for a seal thats no where near an ABS sensor

Yes, RTC3511 works on all 4 hubs.
Here's a post on installing them.

I think I've posted even more photos in another thread.
