rear main seal on discovery leaking

any thoughts on lifters and push rods?

If it did not tap clean and reinstall, they should go back on the spot you removed em from , things being worn in and all that jazz

the bores are in good order can still see the factory hone marks so not sure if i will need to touch them at all

Don't replace lifters without replacing the cam. The original cam annealing process was weak at best and it's out of spec by now. Crower, Buick 215 lifters.

Uh, that's a 4.6 crank which is probably a Thor not a GEMS. I'm keeping my buck until we know for sure which one.
