Since I am just changing out the bushings, it should take more than an hour. It will all depend on the old bushings coming out.

The ball joint will be a BIG PITA. I am glad mine is not broke....just dreading the day it will need to be changed.

Good luck and let us know your technique of removing it.

I picked up a 20 ton press from HF just for this project..

I can make explosives if necessary...

Just unboxed that ball joint.. That's a pretty damn big unit right there...Now I can see how it's going to be a pain...

Well, I woke up with a headache and took two ibuprofen to get though the morning. I got to it but didn't take that many photos, just wanted to get it done.

Removed the arms, which were straight forward. Only took 30 mins to do..

It was the passenger side bushing that gave out....which was obvious by the off center..

Bores were lightly sanded cleaned and bushing installed...

During the install, my Craftsman impact wrench broke the trigger...? It slowed me down, but I completed the job. I didn't take any further pics, just wanted to be done with it...wasn't feeling that great.
