I found some read tail light covers that i wanted to mount on the d1. I ordered them from and individual and when they arrived they did not have mounting hardware. So my question is where do you find mounting hardware for these? I have search and came up empty.

 

It depends on the style of the lamp guard.
If you have what's in the pic below those guards are # RTC9503AA and the hardware kit is #RTC9503K.

If that's what you have then give L8 a call any they should be able to get just the mounting kit.

i have those. Talked to lucky8 and they do not sell the hardware kit.

 

sucks that the damn hardware cost almost as much as the light guards themselves

Now that you have the mounting kit part number I would see if RN, AB, or Trevor @ RovahFarm would order it for you.

If not it's time to order from across The Pond. Search the part number there are UK options.
For example, Rimmer Bros lists the guards (not that you need those) and the mounts for $60 +S US. I'd bet they will have the kit too.

The RTC9503 (K) part number is BS from the BPU site that they "made up". Tricky bastard$

The Lamp Guard Kit Part number is correct at RTC9503AA
